Mailchimp is not sending confirmation emails!

Even tho it confirms you already added that email to the newsletter, the user does not get the confirmation email, no it’s not on the spam folder. This means the user does not get on the list.

I had to use embed code from Mailchimp to make it work. But I want to use the plugin. This is on the homepage of http://areacar.pt

First box is embed code, works just fine.
Second is a [code]
Third if from your template.
