Can we change content to make it compatible with mobile devices?

Is there anyway we can customise the display so different elements are shown for mobile as opposed to desktop? I do not want the desktop layout to display what is needed for mobile phone so they need to be editable separately.

The revolution slider is not compatible with mobile view and this is causing a huge range of issues.
