In the inside pages there is a default picture with a black filter. We need to delete it completely. The only thing we could do about it was changing the black color for white and make it solid instead of semi transparent. Of course now there is such a big space at the beginning of every page (image attached)

Please, update theme to the latest version but make the backup of current.
