Creating photo gallery

Hi, I want to create a photo gallery which consists of over 90+ photos of an event. I’ve seen Slider Gallery but it seems like I have to create a slide for each photo and I have a lot of ’em.

Then I viewed this page, but I wonder how can I change the background image (the guy who’s holding a camera) and how do I add photos on this page? I’ve tried to create a new page using “Photography” template but I found no settings (or whatsoever) to fulfill what I’m trying to do.

I also wonder, it seems like there are information for each photo when it is clicked (such as camera model, aperture, etc.), can I just skip these things and only show the photo instead?
